Technically I’ve been blogging for well over a decade (though I’ve lost count of the years), but this website is only one year old!

I started out with a free blog on Blogger, which belongs to Google, but after Blogger got hacked I freaked out and moved to Wix. Then Wix raised their prices more than double (and I found out some other things about them that I didn’t like), so I moved to WordPress. Every time I moved blog providers, I lost everything and had to start again.

So even though I’m a decade (plus) blogger, I’m happy to say we’ve survived WordPress for a full year and haven’t run into any issues! I’m pretty happy here and hope I don’t have to move blogs/websites ever again.

I’ve tried to make this website my central hub for all things Kristina Elyse Butke. While I have my bio and books listed, a major part of me is blogging. I’ve talked about writing the books (and writing in general), publishing, and reading. I’ve reviewed manga, comics, and anime. I’ve talked about conventions and cosplay. These are all the things that make me tick, and I’m happy to share them with you.

According to my stats, I’ve written over 50,000 words on this blog and have over 386 entries! Yowza!
