I’ve been hopping around the web a little bit to promote my novel The Name and the Key, the first book in The Darkening Gate trilogy. First stop: Fitz of Writing!

Fitz of Writing is not only a YouTube channel, but they have a podcast as well and a home on Facebook. They have video interviews and discussions about writing and books, and a fun activity known as TAT (tell a tale) where you write a short short story based on a piece of art they have chosen.

Anyway, the interview is 46 minutes or so and we talk about my books, my writing history, and things I can’t stand that writers do (ooh, salacious!), among other topics. It really was a lot of fun, so I hope you check the video out! I do manage to say one brilliant thing (“lose your footing”) so watch out for that.

I also have an appearance over at author Steve Pannett’s website. He writes fantasy with lots of darkness to it, so we bonded over that. He’s a talented UK author and you can find his books here. In the meantime, click on the pic to be taken to the interview!
