How far does one have to fall to find the truth?
After the revelation that Demons and Angels have more similarities than differences, Dori and Mahaara find themselves on the fast track to expulsion. Dori from the messenger’s mission, Maahara from their fellow demons, and both from each other.
However, their reckoning has stirred deeper thoughts regarding the nature of the demon and angel relationships unfurling around them. As the dust settles, a mysterious hand reaches out with an offer of refuge but what waits beyond that offer? Freedom, or a truth they’re woefully unprepared for?
DIVINE MESSENGERS & DEMONIC GUARDIANS CHAPTER 5 is the continuation of the Koukoku Brothers’ ongoing indie manga series, which the duo have been releasing at independent manga events across Japan.
Manga Mavericks Books intends to continue to release new chapters of the series digitally, as they are completed by the Koukoku Brothers. A print release for the series will also be produced at a later date.

One day, a singer named Sayoko Tano suddenly disappears, changing the lives of her fans, friends, and lovers forever.
While perhaps an insignificant event for those who never knew her, to others, she was a living god.
This manga weaves together the stories of six different men and women who knew Sayoko, set in both Tokyo and Miyazaki Prefecture in Japan.
OUR INSIGNIFICANT JUSTICE is a standalone volume manga published in Japan by TWO VIRGINS.
Manga Mavericks Books will be releasing the manga at A5 (5.83″ x 8.27″) size.
OUR INSIGNIFICANT JUSTICE creator Rin Kawano is a viral manga artist from Japan’s Miyazaki Prefecture, who also works under the pen name “Gomen”. They have also collaborated with a variety of musical artists.
Rin Kawano provided the following message to share with convention attendees:

I’m Rin Kawano, a manga artist living in Japan. It’s a pleasure to meet you all. Our Insignificant Justice is a precious work to me, as it was my first series as a manga artist to be serialized and released in print.
This story is about how the disappearance of a singer-songwriter led to small changes and connections in the lives of various people.
I personally love foreign films and strive every day to create my own stories, while being exposed to and inspired by entertainment from around the world. This is why I feel a strange sense of wonder, or more than that, elation that my own work is leaping overseas via English translation and publication for everyone to read.
I’m incredibly honored that even more readers will have the opportunity to experience this important work!
