I made my first one of these in 2021 (read here) and decided I had so much fun with it that I'd try to do this again, and possibly make this a yearly event. If you love books and all things writerly, check out my list for this year! These are all sorts of things that I'd want if money were no object.
The photos are linked to the shopping pages as well as links to each individual item in the header above the picture. All the prices listed are accurate as of 11/25/2022 when I drafted this post, but they might have changed since then. Anyway, have fun looking around!
🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄
Classic Novels Gift Boxes: Wuthering Heights, Pride and Prejudice, and Jane Eyre
Each of these book boxes come with a special Litjoy edition of the classic novel, and then their own assorted goodies included with it, ranging from feather pens to bookmarks to notebook sets and more! Each box is a little different from each other but they are absolutely gorgeous. They cost $49.95 each. I'm particularly partial to the Jane Eyre box!
Sorcery of Thorns "Child of the Library" Enamel Pin
If you've followed my blog for a while, you'll know that one of my top novels is Sorcery of Thorns by Margaret Rogerson. I love this book to pieces. I was so delighted to see that Litjoy had book swag for it, and I like to collect bookish enamel pins. I'd love to add this one to the collection. It's $14.50.
Iron-on Fantasy Reader Patch
Since my genre of choice has always been fantasy, I think this is the perfect addition to a backpack or military-style jacket of some kind. It's only $6.00!
Outlander: Claire's Knit Gloves
I've never read Outlander but I'm familiar with the TV series. Anyway, these caught my eye because I'd like a pair of fingerless gloves for typing at my computer. It gets cold in my room and I'd like to keep my hands warm. I thought these were pretty gorgeous. They're $19.99.
"Books Are Magic" Enamel Pin
Ah, yes, another pin to add to my collection! This one is like a cousin to the Child of the Library pin above. Can you tell what my taste is, ha ha? Anyway, the Literary Gift Company is based out of the UK, and this pin is £10.99.
"Six Impossible Things" Notebook
A writer cannot have enough notebooks in their possession! This one features my favorite quote from Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland. This lined notebook (yay for lines!) is £9.95.
This pen writes in blue ink and the message is printed on both sides of the pen. I think this is a rallying cry for pantsers (which is what I am) to write! Only £2.99!
Literary Emporium (based out of the UK; you can toggle prices between GBP and USD) has quite a selection of gift sets, but I chose my three favorite of the batch. Frankenstein contains a tee shirt, book, and enamel pin ($50.00). The Book Lover gift set contains a bookmark, journal, coffee mug, tea, and enamel pins ($46.00). And finally, the Circe gift set contains the gorgeous UK edition of the book, tee shirt, and enamel pin ($50.00). I want all three, but I'm partial to the Circe box the most!
Katherina Taming of the Shrew Tee Shirt
I selected this because I like the color gray, but also, I just love this quote from The Taming of the Shrew: "If I be waspish, best beware my sting." The shirt is on sale for only $17.00!
Wuthering Heights Heart Earrings
These look a little Celtic to me, probably because the hearts are knotted together. I think these are cute and could go with anything. And I love the quote they use with the earrings: "whatever souls are made of, his and mine are the same." These are $20.00.
🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄
That's it for this year's Writerly Holiday Wishlist! I hope you agree with me that these items would make for precious gifts, and I hope you patronize these business and get some goodies for yourself or your loved ones. Happy shopping!
