I got this tag from ZeZee with Books celebrating the coziness of the autumn season. Fall is my favorite and October is my favorite month. I'm only happy to share this tag with you!
CRUNCHING LEAVES: THE WORLD IS FULL OF COLOR – BOOK THAT HAS A RED/ORANGE/YELLOW COVER
Yay! The Iron Widow cover features all three colors! I own this eBook but haven't gotten around to reading it yet. Oops.
COZY SWEATER: BOOK THAT GIVES YOU THE WARM FUZZIES
The Savior's Book Café Story in Another World is a manga about a woman who is transported to a fantasy land where she opens up a book café and falls in love. It's such a sweet, cozy read!
FALL STORM: FAVORITE BOOK OR GENRE FOR A RAINY DAY
My go-to genre for rainy days is HORROR! There's something about how things look darker in the rain that inspire me to read scary things...besides reading horror at night, of course!
COOL CRISP AIR: THE COOLEST CHARACTER THAT YOU WOULD LOVE TO TRADE PLACES WITH
I would be Lia Mara in A Heart So Fierce and Broken/A Vow So Bold and Deadly just so I could end up with Grey.
HOT APPLE CIDER: AN UNDERHYPED BOOK THAT SHOULD BECOME THE NEXT BEST THING
This was an excellent horror novel that I wish more people knew about. I bought the eBook and ate it up. I tried to find a hard copy (I do this for keepers) but it wasn't even at my local bookstore. It has over 5,000 ratings on Goodreads but the overall rating is lower than I think the book deserves. And I haven't heard anybody talk about it.
COAT, SCARVES, AND MITTENS: FALL IS THE TIME TO COVER UP – BOOK THAT HAS AN EMBARRASSING COVER THAT YOU WOULD KEEP HIDDEN IN PUBLIC
I have never enjoyed this cover, which I think is titled The Orgasmic Man. I just think this is a personal, vulnerable moment that shouldn't be on film...although I understand why Yanagihara chose it (she wanted to convey something where you couldn't tell if he was experiencing pleasure or pain).
PUMPKIN SPICE: FAVORITE FALL TIME COMFORT FOOD/ DRINK
I don't drink "fall" drinks very often, but if I had to choose, I'd say hot chocolate. The last time I had it was in Japan from one of their very special vending machines that keep things hot and cold at the same time. It was great!
