Were you born to shine in one special way? What makes you really stand out?
I've always felt like my task on this Earth was to be a writer, ever since I was a little girl. I wanted my stories to make people laugh, make them feel good, make them think, make them empathize...and I hope that all of the things I've written over the years has done that in some way.
Right now I don't think I stand out as a writer in the world--it's a big pond out there with millions of fish--but I think I've always stood out to friends and family and the people around me. The goal is for my work to become better known, and I guess that would mean me, too. It's a lot of work and I hope I can stand out more among other writers.
