Today's post comes from Twitter, and I found this through @wisteraverse, though I'm not entirely sure who the original creator is. As always, this is being changed into a single blog post instead of me doing this on Twitter day-by-day, so please enjoy all 30 answers together. If you want to play on your social media, I have the original image down below.

- Best book you read last year

The best single book I read last year was Yellowface by R.F. Kuang. It got a rare 5-stars from me because I couldn't put it down.

- A book that you've read more than 3 times It's not a book, but a webtoon. BJ Alex by Mingwa. The art is gorgeous and the story is engrossing. It's one of my comfort BLs.

- Your favorite series Heaven Official's Blessing by Mò Xiāng Tóng Xiù. The romance between Xie Lian and Hua Cheng is amazing, and there's so much emotional impact from the story.

- Favorite book of your favorite series

I'm still working through the series, but I think Book Four of Heaven Official's Blessing gave me many feelings.

- A book that makes you happy On or Off by A1 makes me really happy. It's just a fun BL series that makes me laugh but also tugs at my heartstrings.

- A book that makes you sad Ghosts of the Tsunami by Richard Lloyd Parry broke my heart.

- A book that makes you laugh The Sarah's Scribbles comics by Sarah Andersen always bring a smile to my face.

- Most overrated book I'm not going to name and shame but it's a romantasy about dragons. That's probably enough for you to guess.

- A book you thought you wouldn't like but ended up loving For some reason I almost DNF'd Cemetery Boys--I don't even remember why--but it ended up being an absolutely amazing book with a romance I loved.

- A book that reminds you of home I can't think of one.

- A book you hated

Again, not naming and shaming, but there was a pseudonymous work by a famous author that had an overly pretentious, whimsical voice that I hated immediately. And I like whimsy at times, so I'm not sure why this didn't work for me. But it was awful.

- A book you love but hate at the same time A book about the fae that was a runaway hit.

- Your favorite writer This is really hard. I think my favorite writer right now is a tie between Mò Xiāng Tóng Xiù and Margaret Rogerson. I would love to write like either one of them.

- Book turned movie and completely desecrated Now, I never read the book, but the Shadowhunters movie City of Bones was just awful and I quit it pretty quickly into it. So I'm guessing the book was better.

- Favorite male character Nathaniel Thorn from Sorcery of Thorns.

- Favorite female character Josephine March from Little Women.

- Favorite quote from your favorite book "I am no bird; and no net ensnares me: I am a free human being with an independent will" from Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë.

- A book that disappointed you I was reading a book that was described as Heathers meets Mean Girls set in a creative writing program and I was all aboard until the ending.

- Favorite book turned into a movie The Lord of the Rings. Those films still hold up after all these years.

- Favorite romance book My most formative romance was A Rose in Winter by Kathleen Woodiwiss, but I think my favorite is actually The Highwayman by Kerrigan Byrne.

- The first novel you remember reading I don't remember! AHHH!

- A book that makes you cry I've got to mention Ghosts of the Tsunami again. Books don't really make me cry but that one got me misted up.

- A book you wanted to read for a long time but still haven't

I need to complete the Heaven Official's Blessing series and finish the Camelot Rising trilogy.

- A book that you wish more people would've read I want EVERYBODY to read Heaven Official's Blessing.

- A character who you can relate to the most Probably Josephine March, mainly with her desire to be a writer.

- A book that changed your opinion about something Can't think of any!

- The most surprising plot twist or ending Mona Awad's Bunny took me for a ride.

- Favorite title of a book Every Heart a Doorway by Seanan McGuire.

- A book everyone hated but you liked I also can't think of any for this one.

- Your favorite book of all time It's hard for me to choose, so I'm going with my most formative, and that's Daughter of the Forest by Juliet Marillier.
