Literary Titan has just published their review of The Name and the Key on their website, and it’s 5 stars!

The reviewer (unnamed unfortunately) wrote a thoughtful analysis of the book and overall concluded:

I’d recommend The Name and the Key to readers who enjoy fantasy that leans intimate rather than epic, especially if they also like gothic atmosphere, haunted family secrets, and a coming-of-age story wrapped around romance and dark magic. I think it will work best for someone who wants to sit with a book’s mood as much as its plot, and who does not mind following a story that begins in sorrow and keeps reaching toward deeper mystery.

I’m really, really pleased with this.

Literary Titan has followed up with me and has interviewed me more about The Name and the Key and even asked for a hint from The Step and the Walk, its sequel. I’ll post a link when that is up and running.
