My first commissioned piece for The Name and the Key is completed! This is going to be a long-term project between me and an artist I’ve worked with for years, Juhaihai.

I want to make chibi characters of my leads to have them printed as stickers, as well as occasionally use them on social media, like Instagram. The main usage will be printed stickers, though. I intend to use them as swag for reviewers, book giveaway winners, and (I still haven’t decided on this yet) preorder incentives.

Lily is first up as a chibi, and isn’t she adorable! The next chibi to be commissioned will be Andresh, and then the cute art will be completed.

After that, the plan is to commission serious portraits, and it might take a while because of the cost (I have to pay them paycheck to paycheck):

• Portrait of Lily and Andresh together (romantic)
• Portrait of the demons Isabelle and Aineiron together (I kinda want it to have this vibe in terms of posing but be done portrait-style)

The serious portraits will be printed off as character postcards, like I did with Son of the Siren, and will be included as swag with the book to reviewers, contest winners, and possibly as a preorder incentive, if I decide to do those again.

I have big dreams, big plans…and big expenses, lol!
